  1. Disconnect the Battery
  2. Prevent electrical issues by removing the negative battery terminal.
  3. Remove Steering Column Covers
  4. Use a screwdriver or Torx driver to remove the screws and expose the ignition lock cylinder.
  5. Inspect the Ignition Lock Cylinder
  6. Identify how the cylinder is secured (retaining pin or screws) before removal.
  7. Remove the Ignition Lock Cylinder
  8. Depress the locking pin or unscrew the retaining screws to pull out the faulty cylinder.
  9. Install the New Ignition Lock Cylinder
