| TROUBLESHOOTING | If the shield repeatedly comes loose, inspect mounting holes for damage, missing metal speed nuts, or distorted bumper/lower carrier edges. Also check for oil leaks that can soften the plastic and for missing fasteners after service. |

Remove remaining fasteners and any broken clips, transfer or replace speed nuts/clips as needed, and align front tabs to the bumper/lower carrier before tightening hardware.
