No confirmed GM vehicle applications were found; verify by VIN before purchase. Lexus IS250 (2006-2015): 2.5L V6 Lexus IS350 (2006-2016): 3.5L V6 Lexus GS350 (2007-2015): 3.5L V6 Lexus GS450h (2007-2016): 3.5L V6 Hybrid Lexus ES350 (2007-2018): 3.5L V6 Lexus RX350 (2007-2015): 3.5L V6 Toyota Avalon (2005-2018): 3.5L V6 (2GR-FE) Toyota RAV4 (2006-2012): 3.5L V6 (2GR-FE) Toyota Sienna (2007-2016): 3.5L V6 (2GR-FE) Scion tC (2011-2016): 2.5L I4 (2AR-FE)
SYMPTOMS Common bad‑coil symptoms include misfire under load or at idle, rough running, hard starting, reduced power, and illuminated MIL with DTCs such as P0300–P0306 (random/cylinder‑specific misfire) or P0351–P0356 (ignition coil primary/secondary circuit).
TROUBLESHOOTING If a single cylinder misfire follows the coil when swapped between cylinders, the coil is suspect. If misfire does not follow, inspect the spark plug, injector, and perform a compression/leak‑down test. Use a scan tool to monitor misfire counters and fuel trims.
INSTALLATION Disconnect battery, remove coil retaining bolt, lift coil straight up, and replace spark plug if due. Lightly coat the coil boot with dielectric grease, seat the coil fully onto the plug, and tighten the retaining bolt to the factory torque spec specified in the service manual (Toyota/Lexus procedures list about 7–13 ft‑lb depending on engine/application). Do not overtighten.
