Some vehicles may log cooling-related faults such as P0128 (coolant temperature below thermostat regulating temperature) or ECT sensor range/performance codes due to low coolant level. |

| INSTALLATION | Part sits between the oil cooler and the water pump and seals with O-rings at each end. Drain coolant to below tube level, remove retaining fasteners, pull the old tube straight out, lubricate new O-rings with fresh coolant, align carefully, and press the new tube fully home before tightening. Do not use the water pump mounting bolts to 'pull' the pump into place, as the M6 aluminum threads can strip; ensure the tube seats squarely first. |

| GENERAL NOTES | This OE tube is plastic and known to be failure-prone with age/heat cycles; several suppliers offer upgraded aluminum replacements. When replacing the tube, it’s good practice to install a new tube O-ring and the oil cooler gasket.
